Middle School
Classes 6th to 8th
The middle school stage will be for three years for children aged 11 to 13, catering to classes 6 to 8. Middle school is a dynamic time for children.
Our objective in Middle School is to develop the skills necessary for success in high school and shape their spiritual, social, and civic consciousness.
This stage of school education introduces students to the more abstract concepts in subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Information Technology.
The academic programme is designed to develop skills in critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, communication, and holistic development.
At this stage, students are exposed to specialist teachers for all subjects, but an integrated and interdisciplinary teaching approach is followed.
At this stage learning shifts to a student-centric approach where the onus goes from the teacher to the student. Therefore, a wide range of innovative teaching methodology such as Art Integrated Learning, Problem Based Learning, Project Based Learning, Cooperative Learning, Research Based Learning, Enquiry Based Learning and Experiential Learning are used in the classroom.
Various clubs like sports club, robotics club, culinary club, CMCA club, music club, media club, photography club, farm club etc. are introduced at this stage to foster the overall development.
